Virus Detection and Development

Apath is developing cell-based methods to detect RNA viruses of many families. This patented technology is based on RNA virus replicons and minigenomes and virus-dependent expression of reporter genes. This technology is being developed into assays for diagnosis of viral infections, for the identification of resistance to antivirals, and as an enabling tool in the discovery of new antiviral drugs.
